Hi folks! Scandinavian here️ sorry if there is something im missing.
I dont understand the resistance towards replacing income tax for sales tax. Would not this make tax-evasion so to say impossible? The way i see it, this gives people more money each payroll since there no longer is any income tax, but in return, everything one purchases increases equally in price. So if one does not count inflation(read; corporate greed, mammon), everyone still pays the same percentages. Except with this, its impossible to not pay taxes as a billionaire, unless they never spend any of their money ofcourse.
I am struggling to see why this will be a bad thing for americans, but i want to know more about this. Please share some knowledge! Love, Japi
