Like how do they work when there’s no possible way to know how often you’ll be sick? I get 8 sick/personal days and 3 weeks PTO at my new job. But the thing is, I get migraines so bad I can’t walk sometimes. I might need to take off more than 8 days out of a whole year. Even if I use PTO for those days instead, what happens when those run out? I’m still sick, I still can’t work. I’m not going to come in while vomiting and delirious just because I “used all my sick days”
