Hi All – I wish I could create this as a pool. But tbh I need advice.
I work remote in the US in a niche field that is booming. It will continue to accelerate over the next 10-20 years and stay that way. I am unhappy and burnt out in my role and in my company and have not even worked at my current job for a year.
This is not job hop remorse, this is wtf was I thinking get out flight or fight feelings. In order to success I need to work apx. 60+ hours and more keeps getting dumped on me outside of scope.
I have talked to my boss about my feelings and been met with a very rehearsed response. Wanting to be supportive while simultaneously unwavering on resources offered. I have noted the resources do not match expectations. I have also documented a few things said to me in passing about my situation that are very inappropriate.
Would you ever leave w/o another role lined up? I do have about 4-6 months saved up depending on any emergencies that arise.
