I work front line government answering calls for the public all day. Anytime someone hears what I do they say “oh you must have so much patience. I could never do that job, I'd tell everyone off!”. Actually Elaine no, I don't have a lot of patience and after 12 years I'm extremely tired of being told off for things like a tree branch being too low. You know what else I don't have? A money tree! So yeah I put up with it because I need the fucking money. I'd love to tell everyone off too but I need a job to kinda (12 years in government and barely making ends meet) afford to live.
