I am resigning at 7 AM EST.
For 3 months we've had no new hires, no assistant manager, no manager, no supervisors. The regional is doing what she can, but the place is just becoming dreadful to even drive to.
I got a new job with lesser pay, but 10x the benefits. I'm going from no 401k, and paying $400 for the worst insurance (Doesn't even cover followup visits until deductible).
I've been here for 10 years, and have seen the place fall apart, and rebuild several times. I just can't be part of it again.
This is all to say, keep looking. Understanding that sometimes a step to the side is fine if it can lead to better long-term opportunities. It is worth it.
