I’ve been working a security job for almost 2 years now and have been offered full time employment for my second job. I’ve been debating wether I should just quit or give two weeks. I’m reluctant to give 2 weeks because of employer retaliation or being fired on the spot because I live in an at-will state. Any ideas on how to go out with a bang?

I have to do a background check for a job I just interviewed for and they require a complete 7 year history that lists every employer and how you left each job. All employers will be contacted. About seven years ago I worked at a pet store that had a doggie daycare. Two months into the job, I broke my big toe for the third time (this happened outside of work). I told my boss I could still work, but needed to take it easy. Instead, I was constantly scheduled to work by myself, despite rules stating that we were always supposed to have at least two people on a shift for the daycare to make sure we could keep the dogs under control. I was left to handle 30+ dogs by myself with a broken toe. Subsequently, my toe did not heal properly and I was in a ton…

Get off Reddit, contact your labor board, and find an employment lawyer. Reddit is not a reliable source for legal information!!!!
Today me and my coworker had a meeting with our boss, who said he changed our contract for 8 hrs/day to 6 hrs/day, which automatically means less money at the end of the month. We used to work for minimal pay (in Croatia) for 3,750 HRK, which is approximately 540 USD/month. Now, because he lowered our working hours, he says we will get that ammount in our bank account, BUT we have to give him 750 HRK, or 108 USD back in an envelope when we recieve our paycheck. I know this is not legal, but only the three of us (my boss, my coworker and me) know about that deal. I want to report him to someone, but I don't want to get fired as we live in a small town and it's very hard to find a job here. Is there any way I can do that anonymously…
CEO Visit – Quick Advice
Hello all! Didn’t want to get too much into the specifics, and it is the Day-of, so I figured a quick post would be alright. For context I work in the electronics industry. Working at a 10+bill a year rev company, and my company ceo is coming in to check us out. They at the very least, gave us fair warning. But, curious as to what you all would say given the opportunity to meet the CEO. I have quite a few big ideas, but I realize I’m more or less a mere speck to most of these upper division people, just a college student working with many other 30+ year olds. The visit is on a good note, but I would like to see any suggestions as to what/ how You guys would bring up? Cheers all.

My entire working history as a rant
I used to work at a sort of deli/butchers in the UK, shit company, there's 2 in my city and both have REALLY high turnover. I started at one and moved to the smaller one when I was told of an assistant managers position available, I was 19 been working there since I was 16, so I was getting paid about £6.45 an hour, a whopping 10p above what the lowest they could pay me was. Anyways I start there, and get told by the area manager “assistant manager has a lot of responsibility, so we're gonna start you as a key holder”. I was a little annoyed, but this is still my first job I thought they had good intentions. So I went with it, got good at it, got along really well with the manager. He was mid 40s, put his heart and soul into the shop, would…
