My country had always defined unions as applicable for both employers and employees. But starting April, these powers are being increased significantly. This includes the right to stand together to negotiate manpower costs. Especially in the low skilled sector. And strike if their demands aren't met. I don't know what will happen. But it is definitely going to be interesting.

Could more ‘work from home’ help alleviate the problem with rising gas/oil prices but also ‘soften’ the blow Russian oil sanctions? Or is this topic just out of the question because the masters require their slaves to be in the office.

I put my dentist appointment in my calendar and my boss said it was fine but next time I should write it in the calender as a request so he could approve it. Then I told him that it wasn't a request, I'm just notifying him that I won't be there. It's at least two weeks out, so he has time to plan. Also – does anyone have a way of writing it so he can acknowledge it, but without me using the word request.
