So I was thinking what about a universal nation wide union. Instead of all the little individual unions we form one massive one. With the internet it’s not only possible logistically anyways, but would be easier than trying to unionize in person. Now I am no expert on union law I know practically nothing tbh. So I am sure at least a few of you can offer insight into how we could move forward to make this a reality or as to why it isn’t feasible.

Then convert the buildings into living spaces and then people will be working from home AND the office lmao
I love this group. It is very informative to see the struggle a lot of people go through of which I myself had to also. I make stone knives and I do it well enough to make $100 an hour at a minimum because that's what it takes to be self-employed in Alaska. I cannot make enough as there is an indefinite demand crazy enough. I saw an opportunity, took a risk and was wowed by the response. My goal with this post is to just say that if you have a skill that other humans value, they will give you money for it. The more they value it, the more money. Our world is rapidly evolving in the demands of the consumer and it is fully Within most people's capability to be able to harness a skill that other people value and do it well enough to make a…

My union had been threatening a strike for months; around the time the word started getting used out loud, I also started looking for a new job. I found a decent fitting position. After two months, I get invited to take a test online. Two more months later, I get invited to interview another after that, which was great timing since scabs kneecapped our negotiations. The interview was today, scheduled for eight thirty in the morning. I get in there two minutes late because of icy roads and check in at the front desk where they tell me to take the elevator to the fourth floor and the interviewer will greet me there. This job would have paid five more dollars an hour and offered comparable insurance but would have required nights,…
Who’s staplers?
Costing $50 for me to fill up a small ass car is ridiculous, people who work these places typical part time who bring home probably only a few hundred a week this is going to eat into their cost huge and make driving to work no longer even worth the price Along with the recent push for companies to now push people back into offices (which is absolute horseshit, it’s already been shown now it can work both ways and should be given ability to work both ways by preference) it’s going to skyrocket even more too I would bet. Genuinely, what the fuck is going on anymore
