I'm not sure where to start so I will do my best to lay this out clearly. Have had nothing but issues with employer since starting. I work as the Director of Marketing for a small tech based business. While they love my work and tell me all the time how much so, I am constantly wrangled into meetings about “my behavior” followed by a forced, “we really love your work” praise session after. It feels akin to them trying to teach a dog how to be house trained to be honest. I had another one today about how I left my desk too early at 4:59, walked from top floor to bottom and was “caught” standing next to the time clock out machine waiting to clock out somewhere in that 60 seconds. Something other employees also do but was explained to me that, “no one but you does this”.…

Is boss is scapegoating me?
I work in sales and today I was in a meeting where she asked if I falsified a sale because she thought it was suspicious (considering the fact that I made over 100 sales last month and all were legitimate?) When I make sales, these are recorded in a system. The system did not have the customers bank details which is needed to complete the sale, at the time of the sale I took these (the system will not let you proceed to the final stage without them). Upon investigation these were not on the customers account hence why she was asking if I made a “fake” sale. The annoying thing is, she heard me make the sale over the phone! She wouldn’t let it go either, asking me to prove i made the sale. This has me really on edge as she’s been making my work life difficult and…

This is long so be prepared. So this is something that happened last year but it does come back at times and I keep wondering what could have been done differently and if what they did was illegal or not in certain areas. So I worked for a landscape company that was good when I started and had potential but changed over time due to new Manger coming in and just ruining it. (That's another story) Anyway, one day my shoulders started hurting bad and would not stop one afternoon. It was more than a muscle ache and felt not right. I told my boss when I got back to shop cause it started as I was heading back and he said to ice it and take some medicine. Was weekend so thats what i was gonna do. Granted when I got home it got even worse. The boss above…
My SO is taking his “1 week paid time off” right now. And no one is going to do his job while hes “away” So this means he either still has to work remote everyday during our vacation time together. Or he has to return to twice the amount of work and do “catch up” and overwork himself when he returns. This should be illegal and not something we should have to worry about. What a fking scam. Paid time off is there so people can focus on THEIR LIVES. Its suppose to benefit workers. Not create stress. Shame on so many businesses! (MOST!)
