Abruptly left 2 job interviews
I'm a Medical Assistant. I've been working as one for over 15 years now. I'm currently unemployed, long story, and actively interviewing. Once we went to the back they, the Supervisors (?), asked a few basic questions then proceeded to say how they noticed on my application I was asking for $20 but they were only offering $16. (Mind you I live in Southern California) I asked if this was negotiable since their ad on Indeed stated a range of $16-20 and they said “No”. She says, “Oh you know leadership spotlights and I just sent some gifts to my buildings” -_- COME ON! She gives me the typical runaround answers of “well we do regularly look at our wage grids and I guess we should now that inflation went up.” Im gonna do an in person interview but don’t think I’ll accept the position if they don’t give AT LEAST a COL raise. I…
