Let’s be honest the CEOs of Walmart Amazon McDonald’s Ford etc can leave their positions and go work in a factory or take orders and be fine for a month but if u takes those same employees but make them the CEO for a month there’s a good chance they wouldn’t be able to do it. I’ve worked retail, fast food, grocery stores and fine dining and I can say with 100% confidence that none of my constituents would be able to run the store let alone be a CEO…..I know we hate CEO’s and business owners but the vast majority of them can do the job they higher people to do but and those same people wouldn’t be able to do their jobs

i often have headaches along side ADHD and Autism and I can not handle school especially not five days straight. and my mom gets really upset about me not going for obvious reasons and i don’t think she understands how hard it is. i’m asking for emotional support and advice on how i can convince my mom to let me stay home.

Don’t know why companies think that any hour of your time is free to request as long as your employed. Seen a lot stories on here about mandatory meetings and social events thrown by the company. Unless your being paid or fed it’s not worth the effort. I give compliments to people who know the value of their time. I got duped recently out of pay and gas getting equipment swapped out due to tech issues. Had I know I wasnt being paid for it I would’ve waited till after my shift to do the exchange. Don’t make my mistake gas is expensive and every hour cost !

It’s my birthday. For nearly three years I’ve worked at a small (extremely extroverted) nonprofit with traditional 8-5 hours and we’ve been working from home for the last two years. At 7 p.m. today my boss sent me and a few others a text message informing us that she will be at a dentist appointment tomorrow morning. This isn’t unusual. She tends to inform everyone whenever she leaves her desk for more than an hour, but it’s always via email. This is the first time she has sent out a text message about an appointment before. I’m not surprised though. Whenever there’s any kind of special occasion in my life she likes to find an excuse to send a text message.
