my work sent this out. there was no schedule conflict. thet refused a raise to my manager after 1.5 years of working 70+ hours a week.

The arena I work for made $94,000 in 15 minutes on 4/20. This was how the company thanked us. I got 2 to say thanks for working so hard all season. Everyone’s underpaid, and the company refuses to cooperate with our union.

The brazen audacity

Why am I required to clock out during lunch? I am still at work, I am required to be “here” in the sense I must return within an hour. Why does the company get a free hour of my time?

I used to love life

I always had a positive outlook on life before working. I was happy, even though I had zero direction or structure, I was very happy before getting my job. The second I got it, I had my first depressive episode that almost led to me ending it all. I really don't know what the point of this post is, but work shouldn't be THAT big of a shock to my system that I think about suicide..
