I had the most wild shower thought today about opening a fantasy medieval themed bar and restaurant. This outrageously unrealistic hypothetical gave me a huge moral question about business ethics and kept me occupied all day at work. I thought it would be fun to share the bare bones questions that were burning in my mind today to get real blunt and honest answers from the take-no-shit-from-work veterans in this sub. How willing would a general worker be to dress up in medieval-esque clothes as a required part of working front of house? A lot of people probably read our posts and think that we hate America. They think that we don’t love this country. I would say that we love this country the most. we love what true American ideas represent. We’re not complaining, we’re showing whats wrong with the direction we are headed. We believe that they’re beautiful future that is possible. Where all experience true freedom. We just need to call out corruption and oligarchical practices and fight for better future.

Tldr The company that owns my property keeps charging me for insurance I have insurance already! It has been non stop billing with late fees that I pay, but get reimbursed eventually, but I have to comb through my statements monthly. I’m frustrated and I have reached out to the main company. They have never responded via email or voicemail. Ever Can I break lease due to lack of giving a fuck? This isn’t obviously a real thing but is there a legal definition or guidelines about failing to even do the basic things like this?

Do you not want to work at all or do you want to work for someone who treats you well and fairly, while paying a decent wage ?

Howdy y’all! I work for a commercial hog farm. I was transferred last month, with no warning, to a farm an hour away from my home. Between the demon manager, the work, and the drive, I’ve had a complete relapse in my mental health. Nervous tics I had as a toddler are coming back, I black out on the highway sometimes, running off the shoulder, and all I can think about is sleep, both because I am exhausted and because I can pretty well lucid dream, so I can choose to be somewhere else when I’m dreaming. I want to quit so bad, but I can’t do that to the pigs I oversee. The management at that farm is horrific, and I am the only person in the barn taking proactive care of the girls. This is for a friend, works in bank, will likely get promoted to branch manager, but sees not much above that. Is it pretty much the headquarters hires from the colleges they or their buddies went to and the branch people are stuck there? Branch work is the retail of banking, Saturdays, scheduled screwed around with, etc.
