Happened last weekend got fired because a customer asked me “wtf is your problem” and I snapped a told them that “we’re underpaid under staffed and I want to go home“. To be fair I closed the front doors early because I asked the DM to help out and turn off the online orders(we were flooded with online orders, had a full lobby , and only 3 people on the clock) but they wouldn’t so I closed the front doors and left the side doors open and told the next customers coming in that if they wanted a pizza they could order it online 🙂

I'm a great candidate for all sorts of entry level positions that I apply to and I can't get any of them. Bachelors of Science in Physics and Math, >3.00 GPA, 2 years of work experience in a related field. 4 years of research experience while a student. Fucking sucks. The literal biggest red flag on my resume is that I have a 6 month gap since I left my last position because I was trying to move out of the country to get my masters degree and COVID border restrictions stopped me from getting in to New Zealand. (I am fully vaxxed, so that wasn't the issue, btw) Edit: thanks for the support. I just had to get some of this rage/anger out and my wife didn’t need to be the person to bear it.
