The condition of our bathroom at work.
We are nothing but slaves to them.
Title pretty much sums it up. Let a younger coworker know he was getting $5 less per hour. The next morning, out of the blue, the boss says essentially:”I thought you had more experience and can't justify your wage.” I didn't make any mistakes, worked my butt off, got along with everybody, and was on time every day. Let this be a reminder though: if a coworker tells you their wage agaisnt company policy, don't squeal to the boss about making less than a specific employee. On to the next job I guess. Edit: I'm in Canada, and was in a probationary period, so legal action is unlikely. I'm not mad at my coworker, I just think he should've obscured who told him.
Basically, yeah.
Am I the only unlucky one? This is an Office Job fyi not factory.
The Truths Was Revealed….
Just got hired onto a construction job for $20/hr, but think I'm making too little. Have any of you asked for a raise after just getting hired on?
