Im (24) getting tired of this Job
I had hoped this would be a saving grace after a series of unfortunate events but although Ive had worse, the environment is toxic. Its not some corporate or high end place which you think would be good until every personality in spice drawer is allowed to rome free. Especially the long hauls and the vets that have never had to grow up and work a “real” job. Some days are better than others and then like clock work Im suffocating under the weight of sudden spikes in BITCHERY and childish mind games from ADULTS and I am too old for this and my health cannot keep uo with a regukar job anymire to begin with. And still I try. The fact that I had already mentally resigned a bit a while ago when this shit started from week one and I noticed that the way the my job and…
Hey guys! I’m starting a new job soon and I was reminiscing over the job I left right before my college semester started and am worried I’ll run into this situation again and not be prepared. Sometimes if I was really sick she’d try to make me get a doctors note. I don’t have the best health insurance so I always told her if she’d…
TL;DR bc I just realised I made an essay of a post: I will be looking for my first job to do over my gap year before entering college, anything specific I should look for/look out for in a job? Any general advice on getting/managing said job? — I (17f, will be 18 soon) will be taking a gap year to work, before entering college in 2023. I’ve already gotten into college, I’ve just deferred for a year, so I luckily won’t have to be writing applications and such over this year. I know that this post is going to come off as rather naive but I’ve never had a “real” job before (I’ve babysat for my neighbours but I get that’s a totally different situation) and my parents aren’t really much help in this situation. I don’t really have any marketable skills so I’m assuming I will be basically…
