As though as women we have no rights? How do I just show up to work and not just scream and cry? I work in a male dominated field with lots of “good ol boys” and I’ve been wearing pro choice shirts each day to work (and leaving early for protests). But I just can’t focus on anything. How do we just smile and go on with life when I’ve been told I have no rights? That my rapist would serve less jail time than me? That birth control is soon to be regulated. I can’t do this y’all.

I always see posts telling others to report things to their labor board. I don’t even know what that is. I’ve worked in Missouri and Texas, and never heard of one. Is there another name for them?

I contracted covid right before the announcement of the pandemic and I was fired from my job(as a machinist a big conglomerate who makes everything including bio weapons)due to absence even though I had 3 weeks vacation time left, I didnt have the cash to fight it and ever since I've been bouncing between jobs not finding any stable work. I dont know if it's against the rules but I'm going to lose my vehicle if I cant come up with 1500 dollars bc of missed payments. I need this vehicle to perpetuate the system if anyone can help out please let me know!

Was told by multiple different interviewers they would get back to me regardless. None of them did. Just straight up lied. Waste a bunch of time waiting for not even a rejection letter. How shitty do all these HR have to be, for them to not even able to group send a rejection letter? It's not like they have anything better to do. Try to find a job? Don't.

Not sure if there's a better place to go for this; apologies if this doesn't belong here. I'm hoping to get some insight on how to put together a letter escalating to my boss's boss about some recent management decisions. Not so much a formal complaint as a “we need an explanation” kind of thing. TLDR: Big Boss and Little Bosses 1 and 2 screw over Little Boss 3. Also probably going to screw over Coworker. (Tldr at the end) Hi, so this happened a while back when I worked a minimal wage job (in Germany so it was about 10€/h) at a gas station… We regularly had scammer call us to get the phone number of my boss, they always used different “urgent” stuff, like some gas company having to replace something the next morning and they really urgently had to talk to my boss. I was almost always working alone there, even if my boss was present he was in the small office or car workshop. I knew not to give out that number and in the beginning they just hung up when they realized I would not tell them.
