In my final round, suddenly I got nervous and started to fumble a lot and I’m sure that my interviewer wasn’t quite convinced. Now I’m worried whether they’ll consider me for the role. I’ve struggled hard to get to this stage and I’m feeling depressed right now! It really hurts cause I was able to go this far and tomorrow I’ll get to know their feedback and whether I’ve been rejected or accepted for this role. I can’t sleep today for sure!

Saying “don’t we have an email to act out?” is a rude way of asking to hurry and start this meeting.

I was fired on July 12th and company has to still pay me commissions. I get them on the 22nd each month. The accounting team will send me a report that shows my commissions month to date so I can see how much I’ll make. Then they send a final one the week of the 22 so I know what’s it’s gonna be . Last month in July the final report ended up being 4 thousand lower than what I received as a report the week before. I emailed them back and finally emailed controller as well. So I’ve applied for this company called Stripe and I’ve aced my 4 rounds of interviews. Today I had my final discussion with the team lead and suddenly right from the start I screwed up. Before you dive into this, I’m mostly just going to rant about Cracker Barrel’s shitty hiring practices because I’m furious. Recently my girlfriend, and I moved into a new apartment right before she lost her job and I lost my new remote one because Comcast had me down for a day and they fired me. I got another job to pay bills in the meantime and she was recently interviewed by Cracker Barrel a little over a week ago and was hired as a server. She came in on her first day (yesterday) and they still didn’t have her in the system after that period so they sent her home and said to come in tomorrow. I took this job that required a bachelor’s last year, despite it not paying well, because it was remote and I needed the flexibility to travel. I asked for a raise back in May and was told I would get a performance raise and another raise for my one year. Well, after asking every two weeks where my raise was, I just got it approved last week. In the email I received, they said “we usually don’t give the yearly raise early, but we decided to offer you a 50 cent raise two weeks earlier than usual.
