Please stop spreading this toxic approach to work. If you want to stay after your work day ends, by all means, sit at your desk and warm it up, but don't pass this shit onto me in front of every colleagues. It's funny once, as a joke, but not every single day, especially if said in front of management and if you're part of management. If you don't understand this, as a manager, you failed not only as a manger, but as a human being too.

Just wondering how people would react to a situation i was in, the son ran the internet side, dad the warehousing, and mother was a director too, no impartiality and the Dad was a nightmare, nasty, controlling abusive bully.

I have just been accepted for a new job and I am working my notice period, they want me to attend a work day out where they go drinking around a couple of bars in my local bar area. I am scared about this because I've only met two in an interview setting and the rest of the team in extremely quick passing. I will have to sit with these people all day and not make a fool out of myself whilst leaving a good first impression. Has anybody else had this situation? Does anybody have any advice for this situation? I have been worrying about this every day since I've been requested to go. I believe that this is mandatory for the job. Thank you for reading.

Hey folks I was wondering if in our capacity as antiworkers we might also bring some awareness to role of school in the current shit show of a work environment. Now I'm not referring to the few and far between schools where everyone has the option to learn useful or fun skills that will actually benefit them throughout their life. I'm referring to the mind numbingly dull, prison like institutions that drain the souls of both students and teachers alike. A place whose main goal is turning people into the zombified, overworked and underpaid drones that we are all fighting so hard to not become. So happy I'm leaving but I cant help but feel guilty about leaving. I know hes being a douche but I'm sensitive so can't help but feel shit. I'm a supervisor so had a good relationship with the guy, but since telling him I'm quitting hes being so assholeish. I've also just found out I have possibly exposed to covid and have a sniffle nose (friends partner has positive test and symptoms, saw friend yesterday) so I have to not work an extra day on my weekend.

Alright. I have an issue going on at work currently and need some advice I guess. I've been working at a fast food restaurant for about a year now. I make 14.45/hr. I have a buddy who works with me, been there 5 years and only makes 40 cents more. I'm the opener, I'm in 4 days a week at 4am. My buddy and I are both “crew trainers” or “shift leads” however you wanna describe it. There are employees who have been hired within the last few months that started making more than us, and I know it's not their fault, but it irks me how much I bust my ass, more than I should (I'm disabled) and feel so under valued.
