As as the title says, I got paid this month by mistake while I am in paternal leave. First I thought I got an extra annual bonus or something and I didn't had time to call my employer to ask what was with it. Few days after that I got a call from the HR and they asked if I could transfer the money back because it was a mistake. I didn't want to get in trouble or something like that so I just sent their money back. Only after that it crossed my mind that I had to pay a transfer fee for their mistake and I don't think it is fair to be honest. What would you do if you were in my place? Sorry for grammar mistakes, English is not my first language.

Went on a little rant on LinkedIn.
I made a post the other day venting my frustration about hiring managers and HR deceiving people about their “entry level” positions requiring 2-3 years of experience. I got a message from one of my former professors explaining how this has been a problem for while. He went on to say that it’s a bad look for me to be calling out managers and HR like that and that I shouldn’t be calling people out. I’m ashamed to admit that I folded and deleted the post in fear that I may not get an interview because of my post. Now, I’m angry and regret deleting it. I feel like they NEED to hear it from potential prospects and maybe they might reconsider adding the years of experience required for these so-called entry level positions. Should I have left it alone? Or was I right in deleting it?
I just had my 6 month review
And it was brought up about 3 times that's I'm quiet/shy. I don't think it effected my review as a whole, but it annoys me. I get my work done and work hard. Is it right to base someone's review on personality? (Other then being a crazy at work, that I get). They sometimes go out for drinks and I mostly don't go and apparently this was brought up with the communication aspect of the review but didn't reflect much.
Just post the salary already

Got Fired and feeling a bit lost
Hi All. I got fired from my job a few days back. I was told to complete the project and then they will give me a 2 week notice (although the exact date of the notice is still unclear). I think I'll be with this company till Oct, maybe mid Oct because that is the date the project is expected to complete. So I have a little bit of time to look for a job while I have this one (unless they change their mind and give me notice right away). I worked here for 9 months (could be 10 if you count Oct). This is in Toronto. How much EI would I get and for how long? On an emotional front, I'm a bit stunned because I thought I would be here for sometime despite me not meeting their expectations. But I'm more worried because going through the job…
Backstory I joined my current company 5 months ago. I work remote from a city in the uk and my office is in London. I rejected the same job offer a year before joining due to uncertainly about relocating (they were home based at the time but could not give me timeframe when I’ll be expected to move; also had surgery around that time and decided I didn’t need the extra pressure at the time) I was invited to interview for the position again and got an offer 5k better than last year. I was concerned however about having to relocate. Just when I joined everyone was going back on hybrid basis. I asked HR straight away back in March about my situation and what does that mean for me as my contract for renting expires end of October. Initially I was outraged when I got an email about asking…
