Do I put my two weeks in?

I work at a bowling alley, employer isn't bad, pay is 12.50. I got a new job as a remote graphic designer and they want me to start full-time straight away, 15.00 an hour. How do you think I should go about doing this? Do i need to put my two weeks in?

I need advice on quitting

So I got a job I tried to get twice, once over a year ago, and again this past summer. I finally got it, but it is NOT what I was wanting. I’m a banker and I love it!!! It’s a local bank that from the outside is amazing… until you learn some of their stupid policies. (They don’t cash checks for non customers, not even their own checks! For one, and another is they openly talk about how they do NOT discuss pay at this company, but there’s no written policy because it’s federally illegal but it’s been said many times to myself and other staff) my manager is kinda a tool, and we’re a VERY slow branch. The traffic is repeat ppl for business deposits mostly, as a banker I’m supposed to self source incoming loan traffic, open accts, etc. but there’s next to NOTHING. So I’m just…

Per everyone’s favorite WSJ

The problem is clearly that companies give too many people jobs, rather than worrying about those profit margins. Silly us, we had it all wrong. /s

Shrinkflation

So, idk if this is the right place to post but has anybody noticed that with the prices on everything going up, the quality and quantity has gone down? I've noticed quite a bit, but the last thing was I got a Digiorno pizza and it was way smaller than it used to be. I used to eat them all the time lol

What is your opinion on after hours work events?

We’re in that special time of year that we get to look forward to the dreaded work holiday party. I’ve always done anything I can to avoid them except when I absolutely can’t. They tend to stress me out because even under the best of circumstances they still feel like emotional labor. I was wondering how the rest of the r/antiwork community feels about various after hours work events. I’m talking unpaid here. Edit: While we’re at it, does anyone else’s boss guilt them into going to these things? Apparently by not going I’m reflecting poorly on our department. If my presence is that necessary, maybe it should be during work hours?

Update: Fired in the Worst Possible Way

Wanted to drop an update to a post I made last week. Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/antiwork/comments/zh1pnj/fired_in_the_worst_possible_way Before I begin I want to thank this community for the support and positive messages I received. It was really comforting at a time I was reeling. I have a rule when I'm at any job to never turn down an opportunity to have conversations or interview with other companies. It helps to keep my finger on the pulse of the market, make a jump if necessary, or build relationships, or get a jump start on job hunting. In this case I've been having conversations with a company for a few months. I let them know I was officially on the market and they made me an offer this week. In the current market I consider myself lucky to recover quickly when I know so many others are struggling to find work amid mass layoffs. Thanks…
