So if you interview for a long term temp position, should these be red flags? They fired the long term temp that you are replacing, they let her go because: A) She brought in some framed photos of her family to put on her desk at work. B) She was too chummy with everyone at work. They didn't want her to think she'd be there permanent and they felt her friendliness was a sign that she was gunning for a permanent job

So I've worked for the tech distribution company for 8 years. I was a supervisor for 5 years almost 6. I was the most tenured supervisor and I was good at my job. But after constant warnings about being burnt out snd not getting support on running the whole building for the last 2 years of being a supervisor I stepped down. Normally you would have 19 supervisors and 15 leads run the whole building per shift (AM ,PM) and they would have roughly 300 to 400 team members. I had myself and 35 team members as well as 145 temp agency team members. So I was very clear if I didn't get help I was stepping down. They refused to help managers lied multiple times and never did anything so I left that position and for the last 18 months I've been just a regular team member. Now I've…

Just sad.
If your insurance company has ever required a prior authorization for a medication your doctor prescribed, they probably used CoverMyMeds to submit the PA. I Please help my linked post gain visibility in my city by upvoting my post in my city’s subreddit. I am hoping to unionize my workplace. I posted the original post in a subreddit on the city the business is headquartered in hoping to fuel the fire and get the attention of leadership. The company has a classic case of “toxic positivity” and discussing unionizing in person is risky because there are currently very few voices who speak out against the company in any negative light. Not sure who is a safe person to talk to currently but hoping to change that soon. Please help me fight the anti-union downvotes so as many people in my city see it as possible. I am hoping to get…
We don’t ask you if you can
guess I’m an asshole
The company I work for loves to give us a box full of dollar store junk in lieu of raises/bonus. I've been given 2 boxes so far this year and honestly I will probably give them away. We're all overworked and deal with not-so-nice people all day. I just got “trained” to assist the supervisor and I'm expected to be 5 places at once with no raise of course. I would rather not give this place another year and hopefully actually have a holiday off with my family. I'm tired of being told “good job” and then get a bag of candy . I'm not 5 . Of course, my bootlicking colleagues are happy but they're just faking it. No one in their right mind would be genuinely happy about this. Anyways tomorrow I'm giving away all this stupid shit. Don't want this shit in my home.
Here you go.
When I was a busser in high school
I was on break in the break room and a manager asked what I was doing. I said on break, and he said “we don’t have time for breaks in this industry”. I was new, didn’t really know how to respond, and just went back to work. Completely disregarding the labor law posters in the break room. I knew I was obviously entitled to one and after telling my trainer, I did eventually go back on break. What’s funny is there was literally another employee sitting in the break room at the same time, who the manager ignored. Afterwards my coworker said how dumb the situation was, but in the moment he just kept eating his meal. I honestly don’t remember if I was in the middle of eating too, and threw away my food. Probably. I was too afraid to speak up and the manager was clearly on some…
