30% travel max… people suck at math

Hope everyone can chuckle at this, took a job as an Operations manager, salary was about 20% higher than I expected, 2 weeks a year pto, sure sure, expense card and account, alright, 30% travel maximum, ok. Sounds great. Only they lied and they're not good at math I found out about 3 weeks in with a 20 day buainess trip (6 work days, 1 off) that they're about 240 days a year my position is required to travel. Wait, thats not 30% thats over 60%. What i didn't look at was the last line of my contract offer, positional travel days are subject to change. Wtf. Moral is read every single line. After i got that trip done and expenses reimbursed (no i did not use their card) i turned my light off, took my keyboards and lamp and left. 30% travel… no wonder you're pay was higher, 240…
