I was laid off last month and in the past couple of weeks I have applied to over 60 jobs (probably closer to 70-75 accounting for jobs that were not on Indeed) and have only gotten TWO interviews. TWO jobs out of SEVENTY. Many of these jobs I was well qualified for as well. What infuriates me even more is the fact that 99% of them just never replied, never even viewed my application according to Indeed. I would understand if they at least declined my application but to have a job listing up and just not reply to a candidate at all is unacceptable. I am beginning to feel extremely defeated, what is wrong with the job market right now? It’s like nobody wants to hire
