And it clearly works as you can constantly see people being mad that “cheap people dont tip” instead of being mad that “i cant make a living without relying on voluntary extra cash paid by customers because my boss rips me off” Think, unionize and dont expect tips as something mandatory. Look at most European states, where tipping is that “extra for good service”
