So I use to work for a company that made you wait a month before you get your pay because of your billable services. Well I quit for a better opportunity but decided to time it to where I got paid and had a little time off too. Well today I got my check and now I am wondering what happened. You see I went on maternity leave and when I got back in office after 6 weeks I had to wait 6 weeks to get paid. Example if I started -March 2 my boss told I would not get paid until April 15th (we were paid on the 1 and 15 of every month.) Yet my last check came 4 weeks after I left. I am doing the math in my head wondering how it is possible. I can’t check my paystubs bc I was not given access after I left. Any suggestions or can someone tell me if I wrong?
