Your house is now your office so cleaning it and having a nice environment is a must in order to be productive, it's only fair that we do that during working hours, they're actually saving money on a cleaning person. Same with laundry, consider your clothes your uniform, and you being presentable should be supported and encouraged by your company.
If CEOs do write offs when having lunch with clients, you can use the only resource you have (work hours) so you can get some of your life back and not spend your free time getting ready for work the next day.
Its not much, but it does feel like a bit of a win.
