My husband lost his job about 4 weeks ago, and has been trying to find a job ever since. He finally got one on Friday and then on Saturday our FUCKING DOG BIT HIM IN THE HAND really badly. So now he can't work for another 2 weeks. All while I was switching careers, from working at a painting company (that my husband got fired from) to wanting to work with kids. Dont ask me why I decided to make this change NOW. I was making 18$/hr working 40 hrs a week. Now I work at a daycare making 12$/hr, only working 15 hrs a week. And I have 2 families I occasionally babysit for. . I really love babysitting and it pays pretty well it's just not consistent. And the daycare sucks ass but it's a job, and it gets my foot in the door for education. Part of the reason I left the painting company was because I had told them I was going to get a part time job at a daycare so I can get a head start on my hours for education. (I've wanted to be a teacher for a while now), and they said I can't leave work 1 hr early everyday to go to my new job.
Our rent is coming up and we have 0$, I just used mt last bit of money to get gas, we are running out of food, our electric bill is late and we have no family that is willing to help us.
