My observations on this subreddit since joining

I have been in this subreddit for quite a while, reading on some of the material that people post on here about their (rightfully so) shitty work conditions. My observation is that people are generally quitting their job, not because of the job itself but because of a clear lack of quality management, most of it at the supervisor or level up from (worker) position. I would say about 90% of the stories here are people complaining about how terrible their job is when in reality it’s their boss who is causing all the concern. There is a clear shift happening between employee v employer, especially since covid hit but don’t take it for granted as a recession is looking and employers will soon be looking to possibly fire people. If you are dealing with toxic leadership I would advise to stay low for the time being and hold fast until after the recession.
