Let’s be real
If you work for a company, and see if position you’re interested, in we all think that we would probably get at least an interview because we’re already an internal employee.
I saw a position, I applied for it literally minutes after it was posted. I work in IT. I’m an IT Analyst . This position was for another IT analyst position within another group at my job.
I got an email saying that my application was being moved forward. Cool.
A month passes and I still see my application is “ under consideration“. I sent the recruiter a teams message just saying that I was still interested in the position and if she could give me any feedback or any updates. no response. I figured she’s a recruiter, and they are pretty busy. I also saw that she read my teams message but never responded. Cool
I let another another week pass before I sent her an email, saying the same thing that I was still really interested and just wanted any feedback or updates. No response.
I understand if they selected another applicant, but I would think at least that I would get a response either to my teams message or email.
Am I’m over reacting? I just can’t get over the fact I was completely ghosted. Not even ghosted but just straight up IGNORED by another internal employee lmao
