I was 19, working at Victoria’s Secret. I wasn’t scheduled at all that day and I was out looking for apartments with my then fiancé.
I get a call from the MOD and she asked if I could possibly come in.
Me: no, I’m unable to.
Her: so you aren’t able to come in?
Me: yeah, I can’t make it.
Her: you are not able to come in? At all?
Me: no, I’m busy.
Her: so you’re really not able to come in?
Me: no, I really can’t.
Her: hangs up
She was my least favorite manager we had, and there were about 5 of them. It was honestly the worst job I ever had this was also back when they did the call-ins two hours when you had to call in to see if maybe you would need to work. It was the worst.
