Popular Gas Station Job Offer

So I’m trying to go back to work so my kids, partner and I can move out of a toxic living situation. All of the job offers I’m getting are either $14-15/hour or absurd hours, almost every single one requires weekends. I got offered a position at a very popular Arizona gas station chain and come to find out, these are their requirements: -No visible tattoos (I have a flower showing on my arm and “This Too Shall Pass” on my forearm) (even Costco changed this policy, I mean what year is it???) -No unnatural hair colors and no facial hair or long hair for men (?????) -No scheduled breaks (no chairs in the building and no back room to take a break, let alone pump for a pumping mom like myself) -Little to no down time -Starts at $14.14/hr and goes up once training is completed and goes up…

So I’m trying to go back to work so my kids, partner and I can move out of a toxic living situation. All of the job offers I’m getting are either $14-15/hour or absurd hours, almost every single one requires weekends.

I got offered a position at a very popular Arizona gas station chain and come to find out, these are their requirements:
-No visible tattoos (I have a flower showing on my arm and “This Too Shall Pass” on my forearm) (even Costco changed this policy, I mean what year is it???)
-No unnatural hair colors and no facial hair or long hair for men (?????)
-No scheduled breaks (no chairs in the building and no back room to take a break, let alone pump for a pumping mom like myself)
-Little to no down time
-Starts at $14.14/hr and goes up once training is completed and goes up again if you work over a certain amount per week.
-Required 2/3 weekend days (Fri-Sun)

They wouldn’t even consider me unless I told them I could work another weekend day. I got the job offer but between the low starting pay, strict dress code, NO BREAKS AT ALL(wtf?!?), and weekend requirements I don’t think i’ll be taking it.

I need a job to move out but I don’t understand how these companies get away with this shit in this day and age.

My situation:
-Two kids (9 mo, 2.5 yo)
-Cannot afford daycares
-Do not qualify for DES
-Can’t run an in-home daycare
-All job offers are paying below what I could afford for daycare, let alone rent or anything else
-Can’t work weekends as we have no childcare, partner works 6 days a week and we’d like one day off together
-We share a car with bad gas mileage and need to work within a few (5-10 max) miles of each other or we won’t be able to afford the gas going back and forth to both jobs and daycare
