I'm terrified of trying to look for a new job, even though I am absolutely miserable at my current one. I never get to take my break because we're understaffed. I don't get overtime because I'm on salary, despite insane hours and working overtime. I'm handling things outside of my responsibilities when asked and still being inappropriately reprimanded for not getting things done.
Why can't I look for a new job? Because of my hours, I won't be able to interview anywhere without taking a day off. There's a 2 week notice policy for taking a day. ALSO, my boss watches everyone's activity on Indeed. They'd see that I'm actively searching. I'm stuck and I hate it. Employers shouldn't be allowed to see that you're actively searching.
