I've worked 3 jobs since high-school.
1- construction
No safety equipment whatsoever
No training whatsoever
6 dollars an hour for 10-12 hour shifts
2- costco
No training whatsoever
Terrible management that screamed at me within an hour on my first day in front of customers ( fuck you karla)
15 dollars an hour part time for 39 hours a week because fuck giving me full time
Incompetent management
3- school security
Actually trained
People were nice until I realized it was all in order to make me scape goat if something went wrong and use me to do their job
Boss was a spineless coward that wouldn't say anything to your face and would gossip instead
I was the the only competent security guard and given the most responsibilities because of it therefore making me responsible to do others jobs.
16 dollars an hour to be in rain, cold and fucking hot southern sun all day.
Mostly respectful parents but some super disrespectful parents.
Many nice kids but some major brats.
Could never talk back.
All these jobs had one thing in common. They all showed me im just expendable because within the week I had already been replaced. I've also come to realize that both employee and employer are equally delusional.
At every one of these jobs I had coworkers who wouldn't do a damn thing but still had the audacity to complain. The fuck are you complaining about? Sitting on your ass all day saying you've had enough. Go fuck yourself. I was out in the rain while they were watching Netflix and still had the balls to complain about ” I'm sick of this place”. I have the right to be pissed not you.
