work requiring me to be in on birthday + Christmas + NYE + NYD

I do customer service via a 3rd party for a major company pertaining to cellphone service. It's remote work so I'm at home on the computer, and the actual company I work for is based on the other side of the country. Was just told today that everyone at the company's local location gets new years day and Christmas off, but the people in my end of things have to work Christmas eve and day, new years eve, and new years day. My birthday is also this month which I will be required to work through as well. I'm kinds fuming at the moment, I've spent so much money and time to try and get everything needed to have a good Christmas day with my family, and now instead I'm gonna be at work through the all of any Christmas activities. I'm kinda just venting rn, but who votes I tell them I'm sick and turn my phone off for the day?
