strikes: why there aren’t more

The problem is, the people that you're trying to hurt with a “well we just won't work” type of strike, they have WAYYY more on reserves to wait out your “unwavering” tenacity. You'll run out of money, food, water and energy faster than they will take even a tiny hit financially. Aside from that fact, we've all been under the thumb of the powers that be for so long, we need to have some sort of income to feed our children. Idgaf who you are talking to, if they're kids are crying from hunger, away from the protest the parents go. Unless you're a deplorable parent, in which case you probably already live off the state anyway. That, or you're one of the fortunate “haves” and you won't be risking that by going to a protest. Sadly this is the truth of the matter here in America. The need is…

That's what most people are worried about, messing up what they realize is theirs by only a hair.
