I am a manager and make decent money, but I can't stay working for a company that rewards dishonesty and poor behavior. I had a boss that publicly screamed at me and belittled me in front of my team and some other visiting managers. I reported to HR, they did an investigation and no one spoke up about what really happened.
Now, 2 months after I filed a complaint, all managers and my boss have received promotions. I'm being swamped with busy work, told to work 10 hr days and weekends, and constantly being scheduled with meetings where I can't get anything done. To top it, I've had other managers go in my metrics and erase and doctor them so it looks like I'm being deceitful. However, it tags who is doing it and I found out. I brought forward anything l another inquiry as to why someone is going into my system without my knowing and deleting work orders… and I'm told they were just trying to help.
I am a female, im pregnant, and I'm a veteran. These middle aged managers that are being dishonest and lacking integrity are all men failing upwards.
Tomorrow I am dropping my computer off and blocking phone numbers. I'm fucking done. This doesn't begin to cover the fucked up situation I entered with this contract either. If I could just work with my crew of amazing technicians I'd definitely stay. My maintenance guys are the best and I will miss them.
