Co-workers hogging the hours

I work a casual job in hospitality, where it opens at 8am, but we arrive at 7:30am to prep, and then ends at 8pm. This means there is a potential for working 12 1/2 hours a day, every day. There are 7 of us in our section, and many of the others have other jobs, however, this is my sole income. 2 have been there for 4 and 3 years, 3 (including me) have been here for 2 and 2 have been here for 1. The boss lets us choose our shift hours, which means the two who are older take charge.

We are all hired to do the same job, no one is a manager, we just earn different amounts based on how long we have worked here. But they are putting themselves on full time, 7 days a week, and are arriving and leaving 2 hours before and after start and end of the shift. The other 5 of us are in a pool. This pool consists of half shifts of 6 hours, meaning we all only get 3 half day shifts a week.

I get 18 1/2 hours while they get 70+ hours a week. They send out a roster in a group chat and I don’t believe it is the right place to call them out. I am going to confront them on my next shift about evening out the hours, but I don’t know how to approach the situation and I am terrified of being fired!!!
