I quit without notice

So I’ve been working in retail (part-time on weekends bc i’m a full time student) and obviously it’s been crazy busy bc of Christmas. Also this is a company who has hundreds of employees and have a huge turnover in their workers. I have awful social anxiety and i reached a breaking point last night after coming home from work bc I couldn’t deal with the panic attacks anymore. I sent an email to my manager explaining that i’ve been having mental health problems and that Id unfortunately be quitting without notice and I apologised profusely. One of my coworkers texted me today and told me that one of the managers told everyone and that people are talking about me. I also didn’t receive any response to my email. I just feel like it’s kind of unfair for them to be telling people, especially as my reason for it was…

I just feel like it’s kind of unfair for them to be telling people, especially as my reason for it was private. Am I overreacting? I know it’s bad I left without notice but I had my reasons.
