One of the most important values we have in America is hard work and ingenuity will lead you to success. This was the reason so many people immigrated to this nation of new beginnings and hope. However, at some point the dream died out and now hard work is repaid by barely surviving. Ingenuity is rewarded with those already at the top kicking you back down. Corporations have dominated every aspect of the market and solidified their position to a point where no world power can actually tell them what to do. Mom and pop hardware stores have no chance of becoming anything bigger anymore and newly invented products are bought then buried by corporations to remove competition. The younger generations are not anti-work. I’d say we’re anti-being taken advantage of. Anti-slaving away for no chance of escaping our situation. Anti-cog in the machine.
