Century link training

Paid training Random question but a friend of mine just completed his training at century link/lumen (USA right to work state) with me and now they got a better job offer a week later (3 weeks total). They are jumping and telling me to join as well, however I have heard some companies charge you for training if you leave early and warned him. I am currently waiting to hear back from HR regarding paperwork that was signed but figured I’d ask here as well. Does anybody have any experience in this? Thanks I’m advance. (Cross post from the CenturyLink Reddit for now to get a broader reach)
