Okay so I'm (minor female) unsure what I should do. I work in fast food, and I open tomorrow. Now I was working this evening, and while deep cleaning the trash recepticals (a metal box we put the trash cans in, it is also on wheels) I ended up trying to use the door of it to get up, and because of the wheels, I ended up falling back down to the ground, pretty much slamming my knee into the tile. I had my mother look at it, and we have it icing right now. I called my job and let them know I may not be able to open tomorrow because of this, and said I would try to find someone to cover my shift if I couldn't come in. But they pretty much told me if I can't find anyone I'm not allowed to call off and they were sorry. Should I call in tomorrow if my knee is bad enough, and ask for a prefered doctor to check me out (if workers comp is even possible, I know I was stupid) or just let it be and be able slow opening?
