As the title says I want to leave my current job. For the past year I’ve really gotten to a point where I really don’t want to keep doing the job I do or where I do it.
What I mean by where is when taking the job I had I relocated for it and I really don’t like where I live and the people they live here.
Regardless I’ve made the decision to leave. There are too many reason to count; motivational pizza parties, gift cards as year end bonuses, not following through on promises, toxic people, favouritism, the list goes on and on and on. I am also leaving because I wish to relocated to be back home closer to friends and family.
Point being, I want to do it graciously. I’ve decided to tell them in the new year and give them 4 months notice so there is lots time to find my replacement. Do you think this is enough? Should I do more? Should I do less?
