Today I received a verbal backhand after I spoke up about some unsafe work stuff, and the bosses insisted I was being disrespectful after I indicated to them that we were being unsafe. They told me to trust them and be respectful, and I told them that me telling them there was a safety issue was top shelf trust and respect, to which, the main boss said that was only my perception.
