Should I tell my most direct colleagues that I’m interviewing for other jobs, purely out of respect?

So it's about that time where I feel that it's time for me to depart from my job, for various reasons. Over time at work me and my most direct colleagues have vented to each other about the job. It's a small team of just 4 of us. We're all on the same level of authority, one being a team lead. On one occasion with one of them, we even spoke about starting the job hunt again (not the team lead, although he wouldn't be angry at me for looking) Since then, I have actually been fielding applications and now the interviews are starting to come in. Even though I feel pretty sure they will be understanding, I feel pretty guilty about leaving them because their workload will increase on top of what it already is. Since then, I have actually been fielding applications and now the interviews are starting to come in.

Even though I feel pretty sure they will be understanding, I feel pretty guilty about leaving them because their workload will increase on top of what it already is.

I really respect them bc they know exactly what it is we go through, as opposed to other members of the larger team we work in tandem with.

The way I see it is:

Pros: leave on a good note with them (don't really care about leaving on a good note with anyone else but them), they're not just immediately shocked

Cons: they could possibly take this to management, not out of anger/frustration, but to understandably start the conversation of hiring someone/people to fill in the role and take on the workload. This would be fine if they let me finish my 2 weeks while they find someone (I would even be willing to help train the new hire), but it has been the pattern that they let people go immediately after a notice is submitted so I doubt that will happen. I would like to quit, not get fired. It's harder to explain getting fired.

People have been quitting already so it wouldn't be too surprising, I just hate to think of the added workload they'll get and I would like to give them a little bit of warning.
