Hello Reddit,
Freelance video editor and filmmaker here who is trying to run his own creative agency for a creator economy friendly future. But developing a startup has it's own financial drawbacks. I do not want to join any company (or work per say the classic 9-to-5).
I am pretty decent at my craft (you can be a judge – https://app.frame.io/r/f3aa8cf3-afbe-4243-a909-9e1f5bf9e489 ) The issue that I am currently facing is while trying to find gigs from various freelancing sites I feel like there is too much crowd pre-existing in order to suffice as a new freelancer. Where do you think I should look for an attention arbitrage so that I can continue doing what I love while still being financially stable?
Not looking for classic examples that are saturated. A good example where I am getting some hits will be a linkedin hashtag that I recently discovered.
