I applied to a supply chain position with a global manufacturing company and went through two interviews with the hiring manager and the team. I was informed that they're interested and I am one of their top candidates. Six weeks later no updates and HR ghosted me when I followed up. Long story short, I decided to withdraw my application last Friday and move on with my search. HR contacted me today with an offer almost 4 business days after withdrawal and I am so confused. Is this the new recruitment norm or am I the first one to get placed in this position ?
