Boss said I can’t take my hands off my mouse for even a minute, looking for idle time hacks.

The company I work for monitors their computers with a software that shows business and idle times. We don’t have enough work to stay busy a full 8 hours. I was told if I am just moving my mouse it would still log me as idle. I would need to be actively clicking and scrolling on the page. Does anyone have any hacks for this? I’ve been using the read aloud on webpages but not sure if this will work.
