Currently job hunting and was invited for an interview position that I'm interested in. Only problem is the interview site is a few distance away which will require me to take a domestic flight + hotel fees for the night. Just looked it up and it'll be about $350 (not including miscellaneous like food). I was told that this is for only an interview and not a job offer so any expenses will not be reimbursed. Online/Remote interview is not an option sadly.
I'm paycheck to paycheck so it will be a huge dent in my budget, especially if I get rejected. I'm having a hard time deciding whether it will be worth it. Should I give it a shot? How far would you be willing to travel (and pay) to get to an interview?
