Hello, I have worked at a restaurant/bar and I’m wondering if the wages are illegal. I am in the state of NY and work 8+hours typically and only get paid $25 a shift. We receive tips from our tables, but nothing else from the employer. Also we get a check every week and out of those $25 for every shift, taxes get taken out so if we work 4 shifts, we get about $83 dollars. Our checks just say $83 dollars and there is no pay stub or deduction explanation. Is this legal?
